French Lady's Slipper
Exclusive Belle Époque Ornament
From the Blümchen Atelier
An elegant evening slipper for la dame élégante, this sophisticated bonbonnière is also a très chic ornament. During the years of the Belle Epoque, whimsical trifles like our slipper would be given as gifts, with small sweets or even a piece of jewelry tucked into it. A pretty piece to display on your vanity, it's just as lovely hanging on a Christmas tree.
Our exquisite scrap and tarlatan slipper is accented with a fringed, silky mauve bow and fancily-beaded Steifkantille swirls, then finished with vintage gilt foil Dresden trims and an original antique flower scrap that dates to the 1890's. Exclusively ours. Gift boxed.
Sold as one Atelier ornament.
