This dainty slipper is a charming, old-style bonbonnière ornament. Small candies or treats were tucked into the toe of the slipper, then the ornament was hung upon the boughs of a tree for the little ones to discover on Christmas morn! Created with vintage, blush pink netting, the pale gold slipper is trimmed with Lametta tinsel fringe, silver German Lahn tassels and gilt Dresden trims, then accented with an antique scrap flower and a genuine antique scrap face which was printed in England in the 1890's by Raphael Tuck. 5" high, it's ours alone.
