Finely handcrafted in Germany, these artistic papier-mâché nativity figures have the look of prized antiques. Still produced in the same Thüringian workshop where they have been made for more than a century, skilled artisans use the original antique moulds and traditional crafting techniques to create collectibles which are rich in detail and old world craftsmanship.
The "Townsmen and Shepherds" set includes four pieces: the young man with a horn and staff is 7" tall; the young man carrying kindling wood is 8" high; the old man with a walking stick is 6½" tall; the kneeling shepherd with staff is 4¾" high.
