During the Middle Ages the rose became known as "Mary's Flower," so why not decorate your nativity with our pretty rose shrub as a small tribute to the Virgin Mary? Vigorously blooming in tones of white, blush pink and cerise, we used vintage roses from Germany to create this lovely crèche shrub.
One of Blümchen's own old-style nativity trees and shrubs, it has an authentic, antique look because we only use vintage, old store stock European fruit sprays, flowers and leaves in the creation of our pieces. Designed and crafted by Blümchen's artists in our Ridgewood atelier, the papier-mâché tree bases are made in Germany especially for us.
The "Blooming Rose Shrub" is 5½“ high and comes complete with the original old paper label which reads "Made in the German Democratic Republic."
