Holiday 1992 Victorian Whimsey

One of our very first Whimseys, it was quite the surprise to find that we still had some stored in our archives after all these years! A wonderful ornament for collectors, the once shiny and bright silver-plated crinkle wire has tarnished to a dark bronze, so that this 27-year-old glass ornament has a truly vintage look. Gift boxed.
Handcrafted by our artists with old-style and vintage materials, the glass swans were made by glassblowers in Germany with free-blown necks, so each will vary slightly. Embellished with silver Bouillon and gold Lametta tinsels with old stock flowers, the antique fairy scraps used are all slightly different in their poses.
Sold as one atelier ornament.

its beak to the tail feathers.
