Our midnight black cotton batting is a nifty material that is especially handy when creating spooky Halloween ornaments and decorations. A unique color of batting that is great for craft projects as well as for quilt making, it is manufactured from 80% black cotton with 20% black polyester.

Made from cotton which is dyed black, this batting is lightly needle-punched and resin bonded to give it a higher loft. It resists bunching and shifting, and can be quilted up to 4" apart. This black cotton and black fine polyester batting will shrink about 3%, but it can be pre-soaked to prevent shrinkage. Sheet is 26" by 36". Made in America.
