These wonderfully nostalgic pressed, die-cut cardboard decorations are still made in Germany by a company which has been producing cut-outs since the 1920's. Made for display in shop windows as well as in private homes, the first cut-outs were created in the late 1800's, and are a popular collecting category for both Christmas and Easter enthusiasts.
