Sure to delight all Easter enthusiasts, this vintage papier-mâché egg is still in mint, like-new condition. Made to look like a foil-covered chocolate candy egg, it's actually a fool-the-eye Easter egg gift box! Made of pressed cardboard which was then hand-covered on both sides with the same whimsical, printed-foil image, the inside of the egg is finished with a paper lace frill to edge the bottom half of the box. Old stock from the 1960's, the decorative inner lining features a printed design of running rabbits along with "Western-Germany." Papier-mâché egg is 4½" high by 3" wide.
