The sweet countenance and authentic styling of this pretty bunny might almost make you believe that he hopped right out of a Victorian Easter basket! Wearing a golden passementerie collar with silky ribbon bow, this delightful rabbit is quite appealing. Handcrafted in Germany by a small, family-run workshop, this old-style bunny is created in the same fashion as candy container rabbits of the early 1900's. And just like antique rabbits, his head lifts off so that you can fill the hollow body with candies. The bunny is made of two pressed cardboard halves which are stapled together, then it is detailed with papier-mâché and hand painted. This collectible rabbit has real glass eyes and is quite rare in that it even has carved wooden legs! Sitting rabbit is 7" high and 5¾" long. Presentation packaged for Easter gifting.
