Who's that strolling along, perhaps looking for Easter eggs to hide? Why, it's our wonderful walking Easter bunny candy container! Dressy in his golden passementerie collar with silky ribbon bow, his head lifts off so that you can fill the hollow body with sweets. Handcrafted in Germany by a small, family-run workshop, this traditional bunny is created in the same fashion as candy container rabbits of the early 1900's. The bunny is made of two pressed cardboard halves which are stapled together, then it is coated with papier-mâché to give it realistic detailing, and finally hand painted in naturalistic colors. So authentically crafted that he might be mistaken for an antique, the collectible rabbit even has real amber brown glass eyes. Walking rabbit is 6¾" high and 6½" long. Each arrives presentation packaged for Easter gifting.
