These beautiful old die-cut floral scraps have the richness of color and deep, detailed embossing that is always a hallmark of the finest quality 19th century chromolithography. One of the oldest scraps we offer, these genuine antique chromos were printed in Germany more than 100 years ago.
Printed on sturdy paperstock, the die-cuts were finished with a satin finish varnish for a subtle sheen which really enhances their crisp coloration. Our original sheets are marked with the publisher's trademark of "M & S" in red letters, the item number "Nr. 6020." and "Germany." The full name of the publisher is not known, but this company is believed to have been active in the 1890's.

The scrap sheet has eight assorted die-cuts as shown; each individual die-cut is 1½" by 1".
