Jolly good! Printed in England in the early 1950's, these vintage Father Christmas faces have a distinctly British air about them. Depicted in various designs, it's wonderful how the artist managed to portray our favorite friend with a twinkle in his eye! The original sheets are marked with the publisher's trademark of "MLP" in black letters within an oval, the item number "No. 874" and "MADE IN ENGLAND." Originally founded in the 1820's, this company has gone through quite a few name and location changes, but this English firm has been known as the Mamelok Press Ltd. since being re-established in the 1930's.
