Large Garden Carnations
Old Store Stock from the Past
Made in Occupied Japan
Lovely cottage garden carnations that look as if they were just picked today! Made in Occupied Japan, which dates them to 1945-1952, the old store stock flowers are nearly seventy years old. Frilly die-cut petals of waxed parchment paper are formed into full, surprisingly realistic blossoms on long wire stems with green paper leaves. Many of the flowers still wear their original "Made in Occupied Japan" paper tags.
Sold as one flower per color.
