Long Red Hot Peppers
These bright red, lacquered composition
peppers are a uniquely zesty accent. Made
in the 1940's, some of bunches still have
their original old paper labels which read
"Made in Germany - USSR occupied". Red
peppers on wire stems are 4" long overall;
actual peppers are all about 1 1/2" high.

Yellow Onions with Roots
Dating to the 1940's, these composition onions
have "roots" of natural fibers which were gathered
into tiny bundles, then carefully inserted by hand
into each little onion! Fashioned after the heirloom
variety "Stuttgarter Riesen", each bunch has the
original paper label which reads "Made in Germany
USSR occupied". 1" high onions on 3 3/4" wires.

Ligurian Black Olives
These glossily-lacquered composition
black olives were crafted in Germany
during the 1940's. Some of the bunches
still have the original paper labels which
are marked "Made in Germany - USSR
occupied. The olives are 5/8" high,
wire stems are all about 2 3/4" long.

Red and White Beets
Produced in the early 1950's, these colorful red
and white composition beets were individually
hand-painted, so each is unique and sports its
own distinctive markings. The original paper old
label still found on some of the bunches reads
"Made in Germany East". The beets are 3/4"
high,
wire stems are all about 3 1/4" long.
