'Krausbouillon' Crinkle Wire
Real Gold and Silver Bouillon ~ Leonische Drähte
Bulk Hanks ~ Made in Western Germany
Why not drape luxurious vintage tinsel on your Christmas tree that is plated with real gold and sterling silver? Made in Western Germany in the late 1980's especially for us, this twist bouillon has been stored in our archives and is still in bright, like-new condition.
Bouillon as a Tree Tinsel
"Guaranteed to tarnish"
While the gold-plated bouillon will
darken a bit with age, the sterling
silver-plated tinsel will aquire an
antique patina over the years.
The hanks of German bouillon wire are sold by weight. Each package contains 75 or more crinkle wire coils that are all about 42" in length. To make tinsel for your tree, it's easy to cut the very long pieces of bouillon into shorter strands. Crinkle wire can be used to decorate a tree as is, or for an airier look gently pull open the fine coils for a delicate zigzag look.
Sold as one hank per color.
Bouillon strands are 1 mm wide
and are all about 42" long.
The hanks weigh a minimum of
100 grams, or 3.527 ounces.
