Lacquered Spun Cotton Fruit
Made in Germany in the 1940's
Genuine old stock that dates to 1940's Eastern Germany, these unique apples are more than 70 years old. Created from two halves of pressed spun cotton that were glued together, each apple was then dipped into a deep crimson red lacquer coating. Millinery apples have green paper-covered wire stems.
Sold as one bunch of 24 pieces.
Apples are 3/4" high; the green
wire stems are 2-1/2" long.
