Candles are some of the very earliest of Yuletide decorations, and have been illuminating Christmas trees in Europe for more than 300 years. The candles and clips featured on this page are the traditional, standard size which have been used on Christmas trees in Europe and America since the mid-19th century.

Classic Christmas Tree Candle Clips ~ Standard Size
The most popular style of Christmas tree candle holders, these classic German clips are
made with adjustable sockets so that when candles are clipped onto the tree, they can be adjusted to stand up straight on the branches. This is an especially nice feature if you are using these clips on a live Christmas tree, as the candles can then be easily straightened throughout the holiday season. These tin clips all have pronged holders which can be pinched tighter to ensure a snug, secure fit for candles. From Germany.

 Shiny tin candle clips for standard-size candles. Made with embossed "pine cone"
design spring clips, they have adjustable cups with 6-pronged candle holder centers.

positionable ball and socket joints, the lacy, intricately die-cut cups have 6-pronged candle
